‘Supergirl’ Season 5 will come to Netflix in May 2020

‘Supergirl’ is coming back with the latest season on Netflix and with that, the villains of the series will be equally stronger.

Kara, in the latest series, has an equally strong opponent: Leviathan. Now, Who is Leviathan? It is a comic-book villain organization that is trying to take over the world. Most of the focus will be on how technology affects the characters of this series.

Let us look at the plot of the upcoming season.

‘Supergirl’ Latest Plot:

Kara faces her biggest challenge yet as she is up against a comic-book villain organization called ‘Leviathan’. It uses technology to destroy rival comic-book organizations. The comic villain has now infiltrated Metropolis and plans to destroy Kara’s home city.

Now this villain doesn’t have a physical structure. And with the help of technology alone, it can outdo Supergirl. So, Kara has to wrack her brains to defeat this tech-savvy villain.

The trailer was released in 2019, and one of the lines that deeply affected me was the line “Technology makes escaping an addiction”.

The trailer, while trying to lead the audiences to the impending battle between Kara and Leviathan, also wants to bring to notice how technology has affected our lives.

We are becoming indifferent or rather cold to the happenings around the world. We have forgotten to socialize and have also forgotten that, in the end, we are social animals. Thus, to escape the realities of life, we are depending on technology, which in turn, is turning into a deadly addiction.

To sum up, Kara has the task to not only win the battle but also to bring all the addicted youths back to life and in sync with reality.
